I have a lead on a pennies cheap 2WD F150. Think its a 1994/5.
Hows does one lower these on the cheap?
Out back I see shackles or blocks being popular and that cheap. On the front because the 1991- 1996 F150 have the I-Beam front end it gets tricky. Buying new lowering I-Beams is 400$ and that's not gonna happen.
Cut springs a bit?
Hack apart the factory I beam and add in a section to lengthen it?
Make a set of I beams?
I want this to sit low for the cheap. Ideas?
Not sure there is a cheap, effective way to lower a twin I-beam Ford. Cutting the springs will lower it, but camber/tire wear can become an issue. Don't cut the beams! Keep an eye out on CL for someone getting rid of some drop beams, but make sure they aren't bent.
Drop beams are available. Off the top of my head they are about $600 a set.
Scratch that, Summit has them for about $360 shipped.
Couldn't you just bend the stock I beams a bit to bring the camber back to reasonable?

No. The beams are cast, not forged. Or you could do it like the old kingpin beams with bending them to a camber spec.
Beams, alignment, and an axle flip are the easy way to lower any I-beam Ford truck.
Have you lost your mind? You don't lower a F150!!!! It's just not done.
You will be rejected by any serious Ford lover.
You truck will get keyed in the Grocery parking lot.
Cops will profile you as an illegal immigrant.
cut the front clip off and weld in a dual control arm setup

Is it possible to snag the setup of the early lightning?
A lot of guys are using a croen vic front clip.
Also, looking st my neice 77, I could go 2/3 or 2/4 before runninginto serious ytire wear issues.
Hell, I might do that. She's short. One full coil on the front by my calculation.
In reply to Ranger50:
Ah, I figured they were all forged and thus susceptible to all the normal I beam stick axle repair and modification rules.
I think the crown vic swap is too involved for thie vehicles purpose
Slip the frame from a C1500 under it.
