My friend with the ~500 HP (crank, dyno'ed about 480 at the wheels) 2000 Camaro needs a clutch. Surprise. Obviously, he stomps on it occasionally or he wouldn't have 500 HP. What's a good streetable clutch for him that will hold up to that? And it should behave well in traffic, of course.

Exedy makes the nicest-driving clutch you'll ever find for this car. Chuck Mallett has used them in some of his insane cars, so they'll handle the horsepower. So does Lingenfelter's shop. Pedal feel is as good or even better than the OE LuK product.
He can buy them from Lingenfelter online, or other places. Look for P/N GH01SD (single disc) or GT01SD (dual disc).
