I'm surprised nothing has been said. I wonder if Dave will respond here now,
The strong talk is that a lot of cars built up to $2013 will no longer be legal in $2014, so there will be more I expect.
It's true. It's been sporting for sale signs at the local autocrosses. What a great car. It's really impressive in person.

Maybe so... but that's unrelated. Dave said he was done with the car at the $2012 event.

Where did you hear this? I sure hope that isn't true...
Too many toys, and I'm just kinda done with this one. It's still legal for 2013 I'm just bored with it. The car has loads more potential and I had thoughts of reworking the wheels and suspension to lower budget and improve performance but the open diff is a real limiting factor and cannot be dealt with for budget money Not even sure if I'll be competing this year or simply supporting a couple of buds who plan to bring their own entries. The Z31 is still for sale I just think it's worth more as parts than whole, who knows maybe I'll dust it off and bring it back.
DAMN: My daughter autocrosses, and cosplays as gender-bender Speed Racer. You have no idea how much I want to buy that for her.
Clearly this car was meant for her and to not at least bid constitutes child abuse. It really is a good solid chassis and a lot of performance for the dollar. I hate to see it go but I want to get back to my datsun.
