I'm planning on 5 lug on the next E30 build, E36 M3 front brakes matched with E36 Ti rear brakes. Of course, this dramatically changes the brake bias, missing approx 35% rear braking power.
I've been exchanging emails with Lee (Massive Brakes) and asking if he had any plans to produce a dual master cylinder, manual brake kit (he produces a single master cylinder, manual brake kit). He said no, due to the difficulty of fitting a balance bar with the stock pedal cluster.
However, he suggested finding a dual bore master cylinder, with a 23.8mm front and 19/17mm rear or vice-verse. He suggested checking the Audi/Porsche bin.
Anyone know of such a beast?
Any reason why a single with an adjustable prop valve wont work?

sounds like 944, but i'm not certain on the bore sizes. the google probably knows.
EDIT: the googles told me that the 944 has 23mm / 19mm bores.
Tilton makes 'em... here is my E30 5 lug solution. Bias bar between the MCs and a valve on the tunnel to turn the rears down disproportionately for racing in the rain. Very very adjustable, solid pedal feel and excellent modulation.

Thanks AngryCorvair.
GPS, I know, that was the original plan. But I was looking for something a bit more "grassroots."

Was that the early or late, ATE or Girling master cylinder you found with those bores?
i don't know what the bore sizes are or if ti would work for you, but there are some dual bore master cylinders that were used in S10 pickups in the late 80's and early 90's.
