so, the hunt for my 2018 OneLap car (detailed here: what car thread)
seems to have settled in to an '06-2010 Sonata.  After some banging around, I ended up coming across this one:
https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/d/2006-hyundai-sonata-33l-v6/6286829254.html

I've emailed the seller, and am awaiting response.  I probably won't be able to get up that way until Oct 7th-9th-ish.  So, assuming I get a message back, is there anyone out that way that could lay eyes on it for me before I drive 4 hours to drop cash?

Well, bummer, that add has expired... doubting now if I'll get a response.

interestingly, it looks like Pittsburgh seems to be the place for cheap Sonatas and Q45's?  Who knew?  Maybe it's the inevitable rust?

so, I may still be interested in having a local put eyes on something up that way if you're available.

Nice Q45. That is a desirable year. '94 & 95 were the best years.

Q45 s are cheap everywhere, if you can find one.

My current favorite that I have considered contacting...

Thanks pinchvalve!  I'll get myself sorted out and let you know if something syncs.

This would have been the '94 & '95 factory base rim.  Had it been a touring model it would have had BBSs. Both are only 15" so it is rare to still see a Q45 on factory rims

The '90 to '93s got these 15" ugly rims which were often swapped out by the dealerships who added on prettier 16" aftermarkets.

I was rushing the comparison... the bakersfield car has 7spokes, the pitt car has 6spokes... they just look uncannily similar.

tossing around the local CL, I found this:

250k is break-in mileage for a lexus, right?  although, I don't know if I'd consider leesburg to fredericksburg "highway" mileage
