Since i already got the wrong brake master cylinder from RockAuto anyways, i figure i may as well take this opportunity to discuss/maybe change something that bugs me.

Picture below.

On this case, the brake master and clutch master share a reservoir. I don't like this. I'm thinking fluid heat issues under hard driving.

1) Am i overthinking this and it's just fine?
2) If it's not fine, anyone happen to know a setup that eliminates the sharing that's easy to do and won't break the bank?

You're overthinking it and it's just fine. The heat ain't in the master, it's in the brake slaves. Use dot5 if you're doing something stoopid like rally. I have yet to have brake fade or clutch pedal spongitis..

FDs have the same set-up. It's a weight savings!
