Any fellow mazdaspeed motorsport contigency people here? I have been a mazdaspeed contigency memeber for years now and I recently was able to place high enough to earn 100 dollars so I filled out the correct forms and had them mail me money prize money.
It is in the form of a prepaid debit card and requires activation, however the PIN# I'm supposed to use to activate it does not exist. Has anyone run into this trouble before? I tried activating over the phone but no real person was there and I tried using the website to create my profile but it requires a PIN# to login in for the first time.
it says "when activating your card, you will be asked to enter an activation code. Please enter the last 4 digits of your personal ID which is located on your My profile page of the reward performance by mazda (RPM) website)"
this is bullE36 M3.
Also, after 7 months of non usage the card company will charge you a 7.50 monthly fee for inactivity. There is no PIN# for the card so its not an actual debit card so its not like you can add money to it to avoid this. If I'm lucky I will earn money once a year. So this is actually more trouble than its worth. The best part of all this is that the card is ran through a 3rd party agency.
So everytime you try and go to FAQ or contact us for the webpage it comes up blank
I was just expecting a check...
Can anyone shed any light on this subject?

So have you tried this? Sounds like it's saying the last 4 digits of the "personal ID" is your PIN.

yeah but I created a profile on what I believe to be is the RPM website but I cannot complete my login/account setup on the website without a pin.
so for me to activate my card I need the last 4 digits on my personal ID which is located on the website that I cannot log into because it lacks a pin.
Oh I see. Well the only other thing I could recommend, not actually having done this myself, is to scour any paperwork you got from them for the PIN.
I did exactly what the instructions said, but I had my Mazda ID so it worked. I would rather have gotten a check, but the money still worked. When I've called them during normal hours the guy I got on the phone has been pretty helpful, so you can always try that. The only thing I'm concerned about is that winning more is supposed to just recharge the card with more money. I know I put the card in a safe place just in case. Finding that place on the other hand.....

I keep getting emails from MM telling me I need to provide results or my account will be closed. Used to be you could fax them in, but not any more. You have to upload them now. I have followed the instructions a bunch of times, tried several different browsers on several different platforms, it never works. I called them about it and the guy on the phone was very nice but also very useless.

where/how did you get your mazda ID? None of this login or profile stuff is located on the contengecy page for mazdaspeedmotorsports.com
Have you tried calling them? On the phone they've been nothing but awesome for me.

Calling mazdaspeed motorsports? No. I have called them before for other things and yeah they have been nothing but awesome.
I scowered the back of one of the info sheets and found a different # for support so I called them.
here is some good info on whats not listed.
- the RPM site web adress is not listed because its a dealer login.
- racers do not have login rights to the dealer page
- your original pin# is the last 4 of your social
all of this would have been helpful but is not actually listed on the paper anywhere...
I didn't activate mine, just started using it.

Last 4 of SS# worked for me.
I asked a friend at Mazdaspeed to check on this. His reply: just call them toll-free at 800-435-2508. He says that an e-mail with activation instructions was sent via e-mail, but it's possible that the note got eaten by a spam filter. Give them a call, and they'll take care of you.
Mazdaspeed Motorsports has proven more work than it's worth. They never answer emails at all and when I call they make it seem like I'm bothering them.

Thank you! I was having this same problem today and Google led me right to this thread. Last 4 of SSN worked perfectly.
The instructions with the Mazda debit card are anything but useful.
I've been in the program for a while not and had a previous card that did not require these steps. My latest contingency awards paid out on a new white card that I was attempting to activate.
