The driver's side seat bottom cushion in my 13 CX-5 comes up in a corner if you grab it. You can't feel any movement if you sit on it. Here is a video of it (hope it works):

It looks like the video won't work. Is there a way to upload a video of it I took with my phone here?
Is this an issue of a broken clip or something else?
Upload it you YouTube and post the link? My CX-5 driver seat has a little slop in it...not enough for my wife to notice, but enough to annoy me. Doesn't sound like the same thing. There's probably a hog ring that connects the foam/springs to the frame that has come loose. If you can find where it is, a stout zip tie is a suitable replacement.
The seat probably needs to come out. I'm not sure what voodoo exists with the airbag, but I would make sure the battery is unhooked before you begin.
