How would that even be possible?
So, the thing is... I’m doing this all on an iPad this year. Which means a page with a whole bunch of pictures will require a whole lot of finger scrolling for me. Which I want to avoid.
Another thing is that part of the work flow is going to involve pulling pictures onto the iPad, which means I’ll be limited a bit by the free space on this iPad. Also, I have theoretical limit around 15,000 pictures I can take this year with the number/size of SD cards that I have along. So, I’ll have to keep an eye on that, because I can’t “offload” onto a backup drive.

When is the tarmac at Nelsons ever in good shape? It sure wasn't in the mid to late '90's when I lived in Cleveland and ran there...

Change of ownership last year. It is known that things are on the upswing (though the previous downswing went rather low.)
Track repave last year.
I may have missed this elsewhere in the thread, but are you doing One Lap with no plywood splitter on the traccord?
The glamorous life of a One Lap photographer. I just post crap from my phone, sleepyhead on the other hand suffers for his art.

We (or me mostly) decided to leave it at home after some testing. We need to develop a full balanced aero package and test it before it's worth dealing with bashing into things for a week. I learned a lot and that part of the project will still move forward.
Alright, we’ll, as requested... assuming the hotel WiFi can handle it....
Nope, fighting me after one. It’ll have to do for now
We're here and totally paddocked next to Pastrana and the Yokohama guys...
Forum Meetup in progress with GPZ11 and Mazdeuce talking literbikes...
It looks rainy in Grissom.
At first that looks like a bad thing but rain is the great equalizer at an autox. The big HP cars will be neutered.
The question then for the safisticated cars will be nannys on or nannys off?
If i come to the host hotel at 8 tonight can we say hi for a few minutes or are you going right to bed? Tomorrow is looking busier and busier.

Sent you a message.
In other news, spacecadet did good. We were third in class when we left, no idea about overall standing but I'll update that later. We may have been the odd car out.
Edit: fourth in class, 29th overall, which makes us happy!
So, Pete had some trouble initially with the autocross, getting a 58, then a 57. We took a look at front pressures before the 3rd and last run, dropping them to 32 psi. Doing that apparently turned on the Pete. He went out and lifted the rear tire into the slalom, and possibly on two other spots, and dropped down to a 55.4... Nabbing us 39th on the pad!
Apex animal managed a 55.0, notching 31st in his miata. With an end of day amazing 24th overall.
We're real happy to be sitting 31st overall at the end of the day. More later.
This is the point where things like power and driving ability start to come into play, and we're low on both. We'll sleep happy tonight and see what we can do tomorrow at Nelson Ledges.
The official One Lap Press Release is.....awesome.
Also, almost forgot this cool little guy. I walked over to check out gpz11's Merkur and the 356 pulled in. I HAD to ask the guy if it was real.
And the answer is yes, it's a real Beck. So not a real 356, but maybe cooler as it's the completed prototype for the Beck mid engine coupe. And the guy driving was the owner. And we got to chat for a bit.
None of this takes away from the fact that gpz11 has a completely rad V8 Merkur. So much cool.

I didn’t realize there were coupe replicas! That’s pretty interesting. I miss my old 356.

The manufacturers have also brought their "A" game, with some great machinery from Toyota, Subaru and Dodge. They will need it to keep pace with the hardware the more seasoned competitors are running. Entries such as ... a McLaren 720S ... an event winning Nissan GTR ... Lamborghini Huracan Performante and the 2003 Honda Accord of Seth Lemke, Timothy Miller and Pete Lindberg.
Very awesome indeed. Edited for clarity.
It was awesome seeing you guys today and utterly gut wrenching watching you drive away. I already miss you guys in a completely platonic way.
Awesome on Press and good finishes.
At about 6:00 I was on the Ohio Turnpike and when I passed the Turnpike Plaza at mile marker 100 there was a One Lap white/blue Viper getting gas.

Don't lie Bob, that hug was good for both of us, I could tell.
