Time for some GRM history. See the name on the rear wing? Kirk was the concours judge for our $1500 Challenge. Sadly, subsequent Challenges have conflicted with Hershey so he hasn't been able to come back. He's a super-nice guy, and if you poke around you'll find his name on some other high-profile race cars. (Check out the Ferrari that Mark Donohue drove at Daytona in 1971, for example.)

Thanks, Karl. Yeah, we're all psyched. The cool thing is that he can discuss anything: Formula 1 from any era, Nissan GTP, BMW sedans, Formula 5000, Can-Am, Le Mans, Daytona, etc., etc.
I'd like to ask him about this thing. One of the first GTP cars, and certainly the first one with factory support... I'll bet it was an interesting experience...
The 320i Turbo touring cars would be fun to chat about, too.
One thing we're realizing, and I guess it's kind of obvious, but he can talk about nearly anything--any brand, any series, any anything.
A good friend has met him a few times over the years doing Skip Barber stuff and said he's a seriously nice guy. I'd like to talk to him about his factory LeMans Triumph rides and his early testing of the mid engine Jaguar prototype.
Sir David Hobbs seen here after making one of The Mitty's most lucrative deals in motosports history "" All you can eat at The Jarrito Burrito Taco Joint "" sealed at the Rolex 2013 garages !
It also looks like we're going to have a ton of clubs there--oh, and a Group B car.
