I bet they are. Nothing better than generic as hell greasy potato chips.
Easy now.
I was never a fan of Mr. Bee's, but they are made in the town I grew up in and I went to high school with the son of the, then owner, who later ran the company. They went bankrupt a couple years ago and brought in some lady to run things if I remember correctly. The in-laws usually bring a bag or two when they come visit. Funny to see the chips posted on this thread. I didn't think anyone much outside of my hometown even knew about them.

Cool van btw. If it could only tell the stories of things it's seen over the years.
I had a cat named mr b.
I also spent some, ummmm.... recreational time in the back of a vw van back in college. Febreeze is a wonderful thubg, but you may have to pull and change the insulation if you want to get all the smell out.
Wow. Been a minute since I posted to this thread. Gathered up all the main ingredients to get him on the road.

Wow! Lots of progress, looks great!
That is excellent, always wanted a Westy.
A kid at my son's school drives a restored one that looks to be a mid-late 70s. Not sure what kind of activities he's doing with it, though.
Cool, thanks for sharing.
Hey, David. How have you been, man?
Thanks for the comments, all. As soon as more updates are in, I'll update. It won't be long now.

Awesome! Definitely keep this updated. I want one in a bad way, but it just isn't in the cards right now.

Nice to see another ACVW heading back to the road.
A friend of mine had one of these out in Hawaii. Used to be hell getting it over the mountains as it obviously had no power, but he was a surfer and with no middle seat that thing has plenty of room to put down a mattress and bang the multiple hot chicks he used to score with. Ah, I really wish I had been him sometimes.
Roads will be a bit brighter for me now...

What light conversion is that?
I don't remember the light output number, but it is an HID set up.
I'm not sure, sir, but I'll ask.
Here we go...after a weekend of camping.

Funny thing about the dual carbs in our frozen winters.
The carbs had automatic chokes. The cold air coming in the scoops would cool the chokes, causing all sorts of problems.
The fix. Put a Styrofoam coffee cup over the choke housing.
