I like the period correct carpet, where did you get it?

Not too much has really changed since the last posting. I have added a step into the passenger area and a "3rd" brake (STOP) light and new exhaust. Otherwise, it's just been go, go, go every weekend.

Took a 600 mile trip to St. Simon's Island, GA a couple of weeks ago. Went for a quick weekend.

I appreciate the compliments, noddaz and Slippery.
I did ditch the points for Pertronix set up. I keep a set of points and another Pertronix for back up pieces.
The maintenance on my engine (later bay engine 2.0L) is easier than on earlier ones. I don't have to adjust the valves during oil changes with mine. Otherwise, just oil changes for me this past year. I would, without hesitation, drive it across the country. In the year since it's been back on the road, I've driven, from Atlanta, to Cocoa Beach, Tampa Bay, Huntsville, Chattanooga, Columbia (SC), St. Simon's Island (GA) and countless 200+ mile round trippers. We have camped about a half dozen times within these trips.
In two weeks, we will be going from Atlanta to NYC to Portland, ME to Niagara Falls to St. Louis and back to Atlanta. Camping all but two nights.

The type 4 engine also doesn't have a belt driven fan like the type 1 engine, so you don't have to religiously keep an eye on that either.

Correct! I do keep one on hand, though, just in case. That is nice, though, so that if I break a belt, I don't have to immediately stop in fear of blowing the engine.
My "new" front snack table. Now I have a table up front to eat off of when stopping for a quick bite to eat.
