What is the wheel bolt pattern on a non-knockoff MG Midget?
IIRC, the only non-Spridget option were Chevrolet Vega wheels.
It is not a "common" pattern. (i.e. like anything made after 1985)

A Spitfire is 4x98mm... TR7/8 as well... not sure about the Midgets, but it wouldn't surprise me either way...
Midget / Sprite use 4 X 4"
The studs on these cars are 3/8", so the old Chevy Vega rims will fit, but the holes in the wheels end up being very large. You can fit bigger studs on the front of a Midget pretty easy (by re-driliing) but it's much more tricky on the rear hubs.

If you are looking for a set of rims.. I think I have a set of "iron cross" Fiat rims sitting around if you wanted to try one.
