I was at Britfest here in Morris County, NJ yesterday and saw lots of neat cars.....and some different and/or interesting stuff.
Including a wild MGA with a Jaguar V12 running six Webers. The nose is stretched 6"to fit the V12. All front end is Jaguar. Sounded cool.
All my other photos of the event ~HERE~
Also, a semi-neglected MG-TF with an old ALFA conversion. The car was so dull and unpretentious that many folks didn't even notice it.
Also, amazingly, an early Lotus Europa with its original Renault aluminum, hemi engine and even more amazing, a TR7 with its original engine.
When a McLaren MP4-12C arrived, I overheard one of the MG club guys tell him to park it "with the rest of the Lotus cars". That was an interesting exchange.

I enjoyed your pics aeronca thanks for making them available. That's an impressive job on the V12 MGA. The BRG TR3 looks like a really nice car. I don't ever recall seeing a hard top on a Morgan. Of all the cars I saw I think I'd enjoy the Morris Traveller the most. My first car was a 59 MM coupe in that color.
The thought of trying to balance and tune 6 Webers makes me want to cry. Awesome car though.
That Alfa TF is a very cool thing. The sound of it driving by would probably catch the attention of the MG guys. Might make 'em cry a bit...
British car with an Italian engine...... how does it not implode on itself?
All jokes aside, I love cars like that. Not the swap, but the faded paint. It's all faded and not prepped and waxed. Hell, they're lucky he washed it.

Had a MG Midget with a Fiat 124 DOHC engine way back when I was about 19 years old. Even with the limited resources I had back then, it was an awesome swap. Only downfall was that I collected rear ends since it could destroy one every couple of months due to teenage antics; doughnuts anyone
