....what's it worth?

The whole car is on the local CL for $1000. Anyone want to pay me a finders fee?

Sounds like it might be worth it depending on how much the tin worm has gotten to it.

But I wouldn't expect the hardtop to add much if any value. People don't DD it, if you track it you would be putting a roll bar in, it probably still would leak in the rain, if you wanted a coupe you'd get a coupe... so I don't see where the hardtop actually adds any value.

there are a few different common styles of MGB hard top that I have seen. Many have a round 'porthole' window.

I don't think they are nearly as sought after as miata hard tops. I'm no expert, but I doubt you'd easily get $500 out of that one if it was clean.

My brother actually told me that he would pay me a finder's fee if I could find him a hardtop for his MGB. Unfortunately, that was in 1982 so I don't think that the offer's still good.

Yeah, I've got no interest in the car, but if someone wanted the hardtop I was going to make an effort to facilitate it.

I could have had one like that for $50 at the last swap meet. It's a dead market because most people never even put their canvas top up on their MGB's

Why does the ground below it even look decayed...

It's not a factory hardtop, probably fiberglass, and therefore not worth much, if anything.
