I have a lead on a set of wheels and tires to go with my new 3" lift kit. Turns out they don't make the BFG tires any more in a 14" size. Big bummer.
Found a set of 15x6's, ET 30 offset, with some leftover 200TW tires on 'em (score). $130
Also found a set of barely used 215/75/r15 uniroyal liberator's. $200
I know 26" diameter tires take some massaging. I don't really mind cutting my fenders/bumper. Am I going to run into any other issues fitting this 27" diameter combo on a 1990? I know it'll be a little more sluggish. I'm prepared for that. Wanted to be sure the offset wasn't going to stress anything too much.

Thanks!
I'm still in the process of shopping tires for my lift kit.
205 60 15 were recommended to me by a few people here, so that's my likely size.
It should only need the fenders trimmed or rolled from what I'm seeing. I'll be mounting tires in the next week, to find out for sure though.
Paco is now selling a 5.31 ring and pinion to get back some of the acceleration, but it's a little pricey.
Link to thread not much help for the fenders, but could provide a little more info

Yeah...I'm not springing for that. I'll live with it for now!
The kit is going on my beater car, so any modifications necessary can be done without cosmetic worry. The 30 offset was a little concerning.
The ring and pinion from the front differential of a Kia Sportage apparently fits. It's a 4.778 ratio and should be cheap at the junkyard.
The +30 offset is fine. 15x6 is pretty narrow so taller sidewall tire will help balance that.
Post pics when you get it together.

That would be awesome, except mine is a 1.6. I'll keep researching for options.
Found a 1.8 open diff assembly for $100, axles for $25 each, driveshaft for $20. Also found a Kia Sportage diff, all in a local junkyard. Sounds like a decent deal, but not mind-blowing cheap.
