Yes, I see more than a little Z4 influence here. But, at least from the angle shown, I like it better. The ridiculous "Zoro" slash on the fender, bisected by the even-more-ridiculous logo/side-marker/belt-buckle thing, is no where to be seen. The rocker panel also lacks the upward curve at the front fender which makes the original Z4 (and the 1-series) look like a pregnant cow. The side-exit exhaust is a nice touch.
I always like the proportions and basic shape of the Z4, but hated the detailing. While derivative, this seems a much more pleasing execution of the same general theme.
As for the lack of doors, I suppose it's not a huge issue getting in. I'm not sure how you get out of of the thing, however. Especially for those of us middle age guys carrying a bit of a spare tire around our waists.
