Both the cars and rims are in my driveway but there is snow on the ground and it is cold. My thoughts drift to fun summer driving....
Do you think the Panasport 15" rims that are currently on my '90 Miata will fit on my '87 BMW 325is?
Both are 4x100. I suspect that the hubs on the Panasports are big enough but the real question is offset. Anyone with any experience?
Based on the wheels for sale on Tire Rack, the E30 is going to want a lower offset. For example, the TR Motorsport C1 fitment for the E30 is a +20 15x8. I'm not sure you're going to get that on a Miata without some fender surgery. So they might be a bit tucked in.
But it's worth a try!
When I bought my E30 it had some 17x7" Enkeis, I'm unsure of what they're offset was, (I think around 40) but they rubbed at close to lock in the front and at full compression in the rear even with 8 mm spacers all around.

E30s need a +25 offset more or less, Miatas like something around +40. A set of 12-15MM spacers with longer lug bolts and hubcentric rings and you are set. You can also get a set of Rota RBs or slipstreams with the correct offset and 57.1 centerbore very easily.
Otherwise, I'd be interested in the panasports for my $500 Miata
^Basically. But +20 for 8" and wider, and then even lower the wider you go, especially for a 15".
Spacers are easy, but if the Panasports are 56.1 spending money on custom spacers or a machine shop to open up the hub bore + spacers doesn't seem worth it.

Well thanks all for the feedback, seems like swapping them will not work. I will be keeping the Miata (and the Panasports) I was just wishing to combine the best of both.

I'd sure jack 'em up and try!
If the hub fits (which you'll see directly) I'd bet it'll roll.
The Panasports are GREAT looking wheels and would look hot on the e30.
I ran panasports on my E30 for a few months but only wound up with one crappy picture of it.
It was a great look and I got lots of compliments. SOme of those 16X8 3 piece panas would have been perfect
