Would like to keep the motor if I'm not selling the car, just in case. I was offering it up as bait.
The difference between mine and any other Midget you're going to find is the body kit, which you either love or hate. It drops a few pounds from the car (maybe 100-150) but if the styling doesn't work for you the it just doesn't.
Check out the Midget for sale add in the classifieds for maybe a offer you can't refuse?
For Toyota swaps:
Check Gruber's project ~HERE~
Or my pal, Mike's "Toylet".

I have three Midgets for sale for $750 in the Classifieds. They would be great for this type of project and you could make a lot of money back selling parts.
I looked for your Midgets but didn't see then. Maybe I over looked them. Do you have a link?
This is them: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/200x-classifieds/mg-midgets-for-sale/7070/page1/
They were in the 200x forum here on the board. If they were in the classifieds, they'd be alot easier to find (hint, hint)
Sorry about that I will add them to the classifieds.

The problem would be that I have no way to get them to Moody, AL
How far is that from Huntsville? I am at school there. I might be able to help with transport.

Moody is about 120 miles from Huntsville. Moody is about 20 miles east of Birmingham on I-20.
I had a Bugeye basket case with a Buick/Rover 3.5 V8... not nearly as attractive in real life as it was on paper... and t wasn't all that attractive there.
The trick swap "back in the day" was the 13b Rotary...
