I bought a 99 Miata that had a mouse problem. When taking the entire interior apart I found a single wire running down the top of the transmission tunnel that had been chewed. It has a plastic core with the coper wound around it. Unsure what it is and I need to splice or replace it. HALP
It sounds like you're describing coax, if it is then it's the FM radio antenna wire,
