Hey guys, I put in a fuel cell in the exocet and an external fuel pump (walbro gsl392 - essentially an external 255lph pump). The rear harness has a blue/red wire that kicks the fuel pump on momentarily when the key is turn to start.

But while starting/idling the fuel pressure drops massively.

If you give it some gas the car will stay alive seemingly indefinitely and the fuel pressure spikes back up. I'm clearly doing something wrong, help?

Can you put numbers to this? Fuel pressure in a 1.6 Miata is tied to manifold pressure.

"Walbro Part Number: GSL392"

I think it might've been a loose ground wire. I tightened everything up and it appeared to run/idle fine from then on.

Do you think this one won't work for the 1.6?

Hahaha! I just reread it and realized you meant pressure readings, whoops. If I still have a problem I'll nab them from the MPNP logs. Thanks for chiming in either way.

You'll need to log in to post.
