Ya'll heard about these?

When is GRM going to do a test on them? Finally looks like they're making something other than drag tires again...

Crap. I was really hoping they would come in 14". I figured with MT's muscle car connection...
Ahem

Word on the street is 15's are for sure, 14's may happen.

Oh hai, thought I remembered seeing something about it on ONE of these boards. LOL
I have a feeling they will be a decent all around tire, but probably not a dominant competition tire. The 300tw is usually a give away (disclaimer: I understand there is not a definitive TW rating system, that every company has their own system). MT could be padding the numbers though. I'm curious to see how they turn out.
Right now the smallest size listed is a 245/45R17

How long until the 15s? Or 17s or 16s in <25.5" tall? Seems to be geared toward muscle cars
In reply to ProDarwin:
Supposedly Christmas time for more sizes, but I don't know if that includes the 15's or not. Might not be until next spring.
If they don't do 15s, they are a joke.
Plenty of us own vintage muscle, want a proper speed rated tire and don't want to install big, dumb "Pro Touring"(whatever the hell that is) wheels.

Aren't a lot of muscle cars 14" wheels?

300TW on an M/T though, which means it will probably stick like a drag radial.

Also not encouraging:
Instantaneous response and ride comfort is essential in your late model muscle car, and M/T took this into account
On the other hand, they may be a tire to watch in Street Touring or other treadwear restrictions.

Ding ding ding! Most "muscle car" competitions have a 200 or 300 TW restriction. M/T knows their markets fellas.

those "competitions" are a joke-an auto-X course designed by the Isetta club, filled with 700hp V-8s rolling on oil drum wheels-I'll pass, thanks.
