Two thumbs up.
I really like how this is developing. Are you going to weld a patch panel into the opening of the tailgate?
oh, and the "deck" is a nice touch.

In reply to Indy-Guy :
I will cover up the holes on the tailgate but for the challenge it will be much less professional than welding in patch panels. Perhaps eventually I will do it up the right way.
Going to paint the car today! In about an hour, join me for another YouTube live session to see an idiot spray paint a car in a hurry!
First post in the thread is updated with new video feed. check er out! Need to take the car outside for a quick wash so if you dont see me thats why.

Hmm? It takes a few minutes after I start the feed to get everything posted up here... Is that what you are talking about?
Otherwise maybe I screwed something up.
Still to-do:
ROBBIE !
I had my doubts about your color choice. But now that I can see it on the car all together. Well done.
This has really come together nicely. Good luck this weekend.
Wow, that's turning out really nice! I have doubts about red wheels, but the bronze kinda goes well with the green/white.

Regular Rust-Oleum "2x coverage!" spray paint. $3.47 a can at malwart. I used 13 cans total, and the hood alone took about 3.
The white was really hard to work with but the green went on like butter.
Thanks all for the compliments! I am exceedingly pleased with how the paint came out.
I will restate though that this conversion would not have been NEARLY this nice without everyone's help.
