Regardless of what they should have done. If Mini ignores this, it will be total proof to me that the only real reason they're doing this whole thing in the first place is to make Porsche look bad.

I don't see how in any way this will effect Porsche because people who are considering buying Porsches are not going to turn around buy a MINI because of this whole PR thing.
