What is on the market to equal the SUPER OSCAR Spot Driving Light?
Dark Roads at night, need white light
Yes, yellow will be added for depth
Thanks

Baja Designs is the go to for everything if you need to rely on it and are actually using it and not posing.
Toyman! said:I have always liked the old-school Hella 500FFs.
The thing with those is that they are a pencil beam, at least the ones I've used. They'll throw light a mile forward and a foot to the side. Not useful unless you're on a very straight road.
The first time I used mine, it lit up the back of a semi like a reflector, when before I could barely see the running lights way off on the horizon. I stopped using them after that except for night rallycrosses, where I discovered that they were equally useless there unless I made them very crosseyed.
He did ask about a driving spot so...
This is two 500FFs and the OEM sealed beams on Sanford. They work very well together. I seldom need light close to the vehicle. I like the FF500s because they reach way down the road.
They also make the regular 500s if you want a wider pattern.
I bought this set of Hella 2000s a few years ago. The previous owner road rallied and you can clearly see four different lenses. He covered everything from fog/flood to pencil beam, which I thought made a lot of sense.
I put LED Hella 500s on the Expedition a few years back:
I was happy with them. They were cheap ($170 for the pair) and put out a E36 M3-ton of light.
