I've seen a LOT of local 90's Land Cruisers flying the TRD tri-colors.
As far as moden cars, there's been a handful of recent 4Runners doing the same

What's neat is that the stripe package on the Gladiator can be had as a factory option.
Saw this at a local C&C yesterday morning. The Firebird Esprit parked next to it was a nice contrast.
Most of the two tone retro stuff I've seen is wrong, because there is no proper body line being followed. If they are just putting a sticker in the middle of a flat panel, I'm not impressed.
I dig it.
The car landscape is overwhelmingly gray/white/black/silver/a shade of red.
Adding some variety to it is a good thing.
