I have passed this jewel on my way to work for a year or so. Never thought about buying a bus, but Mongo has me thinking. I am so sure my wife would divorce me, but I could live in it. There are no real positive factors, but I see a bus in my future. Maxton mile? Bus grudge racer? Mongo looks slipperier, but with a good fogger, and the back tire, there may be a chance......

That looks nice! How much?
OMG, I love this! Ever since I saw the Mythbusters try (not to?) to roll an old city bus, I've wanted one of these. Actually a guy up the street used to sell the yellow school types for cheap. Make a great camper!

This has the makings of a special class of exhibition racing/lapping at The Mitty.
Wagering will be encouraged.
Finally, an event I'm qualified for.
You could load up the inside with plate steel and use it for target practice for the Pheonix Police Department.
That may be the best looking bus ever. Is that a GM product?
It reminds me of this, the best looking train ever:

Says GMC right on the front
EMD E and F class locomotives are some of the best looking locomotives ever produced.

Can't see it, but I trust you.

Yes, it is a 1973 GMC, with a DD Series 71 two-stroke diesel V8, and a manual transmission.
That is a good looking train engine.

Can't have this conversation without researching the subject.

According to Ben Collins, theytried to break the bendy bus in half by cutting all the hinge mechanism out of it and it still wouldn't break. Also had to try a few times to make the rollover happen.

I own the 40 foot version, the 4905a. I converted it to motorhome status 15 years ago and have been quite happy. Like all the other crack dealers on this site I would of course tell you to go for it.
Bring it on, Mongo is ready to run, say 3 laps of Road Atlanta next weekend.

There are several prices (sun faded and scratched thru) on the For Sale sign. The last asking price is $9,000......I'm thinking $5,000 or less? Also it is not converted; still has seating for 40.

Take your time and do homework, it took me over a year to find Mongo.
Everything works apart from some maintenance items and he is converted. I paid a princely 3700 bucks and drove him home.
