We dealer trade a bunch of vehicles at the Ford dealership I work for. It's always funny to see the dealer addition stickers on those vehicles. We don't add anything to the vehicles on our lot unless the person buying it wants it on there.

Scion no haggle pricing FTMFW (hopefully)

My God that is a funny movie. Even the shootin' and killin' will make you laugh and squirm at the same time.
I loved the part during this scene where he says he has to go talk to the manager about the Trucoat, then he walks to an office and watches a couple minutes of a basketball game, then walks back to his office; he never spoke to a 'manager'.

I have heard completely unconfirmed reports that Scion's "no-dicker-sticker" deal can be negotiated around.
I'm not even sure that Toyota could legally require their franchisees to live up to such a deal even in an otherwise valid contract.

Just sold a ZL1, that guy was offered 20K profit to flip the car. The dealer has been in business for over 40 years. Has an absolutely huge inventory, payroll and facilities. He donates to every charity in the world. He is honorable in his business dealings to the point of honoring warranties on defunct brands.Regardless of profit we fully detail and fill with fuel every vehicle. In my experience the customer is honorable and straightforward in our dealings maybe 20% of the time. Do I demand an accounting of how much my GRM magazine cost? Then offer less? And be rude? And demand exceptional service? Miss appointments? How would that work out in your business? Sure some dealers suck. But most have huge investments in their communities and are honorable business people. Look for a dealer that is individually or family owned. And don't pay over MSRP. Walk in at the end of the month. Sit down with a Manager and make a reasonable offer. You should do fine.
Ya, I know there are good dealers out there and it's good to hear yours is one of them. I didn't mean to imply that they are all bad. Over the years I have found a few good ones and purchased from them and overall had a good experience. It's just every time I am looking for a new car I have to spend so much time sorting through the bad apples. I appreciate your input though.
