So I zip into work ( I work at an car dealership) and I spy, sitting among the trade ins and old Sentra 2 door. Looked like a 92 or 93 model. Alloy wheels. Hmmm. I take a closer look. SER on the back. (Yessssss...) I look in the window. Auto trans. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

So how is your day GRMers?
Tomorrow morning, I head to TX. They have BBQ there. We do not have BBQ here. I am very happy.

Meh. I've been there, it's good, but not a goto-must have.
Offer much less due to the autotragic and swap for 5 speed? That was standard operating procedure for many the 240SXs out there wasn't it?

Spent most of last night retapping the wife's brake caliper instead of getting my miata running. No, that isn't code for anything.
There is clems in blairsville if you are up for a short drive to the laurel highlands for bbq.
Stomach bug is done. Drove the kids to school in the 911. Now I'm off to attack a wobbly pitman arm on a friends truck which will keep me from having to mow the lawn. No disappointment in these parts.

Exhausted from moving (still in the process) but I'm going to the Cubs game tomorrow, and a bad day at the ballpark is better than a good day at work.
I'm also about to go and take a huge dump which always cheers me up.
I might still be drunk from last night...
So when does the swap to a manual thread start?

That doesn't sound like a disappointment at all.
That sounds like a bonus.
And now I'm on my way to the parts store for the second time....... Grrrrrrr.......
The first words out of my mouth this morning were "Well, this thing ain't gonna suck itself." It got worse from there.

I've been test driving a car all week.... My brothers Oldsmobile with 125k
I had every intention of buying it. He said there is a small chance a guy might come buy it by Friday... If not its mine. He was waiting on me at work with cash in hand. Sad sad day.

I don't recall the early SE-R's ever having autos. I could be wrong, I bought mine in early '91. I'd check under the hood and make sure someone didn't just do a "badge upgrade."
Other external cues for the SE-R were a big exhaust tip, fog lights in the air dam and a particular wheel style.
