That is the meat of the story. Mortske buys a stolen recovery from Co-Part and on his way driving it home gets pulled over and arrested for possessing a stolen truck. Everything was cleared in the end, but damn, what a way to ruin your trip. But at least it gave him content.

talented as he maybe, nobody is going to ask Sir Sean Connery to be in any of his movie adaptations...
was it Hertz Rent a car that reported some of its cars were stolen when it was a paperwork mistake ?
I am sure things like this happen all the time . just not alway with a Felony stop !
