What is the best bang for the buck. I like Nascar but it is not the end of the world if I dont see it.
I really like the American Le mans, IRL/CART
F1 not so much,
European sports car series is great stuff.
Australian sports car series (the V8 one that I can not remember the name of)
Where can I watch these? I dont mind paying to play but I am not going to get 10 different stations I want one or two.
I also occationaly like the Drag Racing and some of the other more unusual forms of motor sports. (tractor pulls, lawnmower racing can be entertaining for short periods)
Drifting is ok the attitude of the participant's just kills it for me. (Bunch of punk ass kids that need a good beat down) Is what Speed TV promotes. It is to bad as I am sure that most that partake in this are not like this. Hell I use to like to slide my car around when I was young.
Where can I find this stuff on TV. ? Is Speed still the place? or is there some other place. How about on the web. Are there web casts?

I sure wouldn't say that out loud in public.
yeah especially in the US. It's the only one in America.
and the answer is no, Speed only plays that stuff in the middle of the day or late at night/early morning and they rarely play it, after the 18 time rerun of the Pinks Allout epsiode or Barrett Jackson recaps, but no they don't showe them. F1 when the season starts and Rolex and ALMS buut......the European stuff, aka the good motorsports is only on Eurosport and such which is only in Europe/Asia. I want to move......
There is a spattering of motoring shows on Discovery and a few others.
speed is your best (and only) bet in the US, but TiVo will be your friend. oh, and IRL is on Versus this year.
as for other stuff, you could try downloading them on the internet...works for me.

You know, I have an idea for a new channel. From Baja to F1.....from Swamp Buggy's to Bullet Trains....Solar powered vehicles to LeMans.
Time will tell.
Wasn't the guy that started Speedvision (those were the days!) trying to start another motorsports channel about a year ago?
It seems that ESPN2 has better drag racing coverage than SPEED; they even cover IHRA, the red-headed stepchild of 1/4 mile santioning bodies. Good stufff, in small, intense doses.
