As a fan and mechanic of Yugos, that's freaking badass.

Yeah, I do like the grille, very baby lancia. The flares could use some work but Im biased, I like the way the bodylines were preserved on the original YFH

Doesn't look enough like a Yugo. The original YFH above is very obviously a Yugo gone evil. That looks like a Lancia got risotto'd.
Keep the Lancia drivetrain, make it more obviously Yugo.

there will never be a Yugo more badass than the one that used to run around the minneapolis/St Paul area 10-15 years ago.. it had a 350 Chev with an 8-71 blower with a ouple of Holey carbs poking thru the hood and tires that pretty much filled the entire rear of the car.
no, it couldn't take a corner and i'm sure the gas mileage was crap- but i bet it could scare pretty much anyone that was brave or stupid enough to take a ride in it. i saw it in person a few times..

Then you've never seen the one with the 2.2 Dodge turbo up front and the 500ci Caddy in the rear...that was more bad assed :) And it was built to autocross so it could take a corner.
Last I heard they had actually removed the 2.2 and gone with twin 500s but I've never seen it in that config.

I dont know where people get that impression. I flogged the YFH shown above mercilessly on autcross tracks and it never gave a yelp.
That is so cool. There is nothing that a dose of Delta Integrale can not make better.
