McLaren F1 car he was driving spun off the road near the village of Haddon, Cambridgeshire, before crashing into a tree and a lamppost. The 56-year-old walked away from the accident before firefighters arrived and put out the blaze.

Rowan Atkinson is a huge performance car enthusiast and excellent driver. He writes a column for evo magazine. He also did all his own stunt driving in an Aston in the Bond-parody Johnny English.

He had 38,000 miles on it. About 5 years ago a lady rear-ended him in it and he flipped the $200,000 bill to have it fixed...

We were racing, he lost. Simple as that.

It is the mark of a great driver that he looks like he is going much slower than others, but actually is going extremely fast. I couldn't have done better myself.

Did not expect the Bean to be a racer, impressive.
