If not for the CRV in the background...the coloring of this photo looks like a Kodak Instamatic film circa 1982. Cool.

It won't be too many more years where people won't know what a phone dial is................
Thanks, all!!! As always, your words are appreciated.
And yes, John, I love that pic, too. It does look period correct, lolol. I'll have to see if the photographer can lose the SUV.

Find some way to cover the CRV? Retro diagonal banner?
I never thought I'd say this about a civic, but that thing looks amazing/is bordering on beautiful! I love those fender-mounted mirrors, and adjustment impracticalities aside, if adjusted correctly they probably could make your side blindspots pretty miniscule/nonexistant, especially with a convex lens...

Than you would absolutely love the trendy Instagram Every picture of somebody's meal on FaceSpace looks like that.

Thanks, man. A lot of non-Civic type folks say the same thing. I'm one of them. I would never own a Civic made after 1990. First through third generations is it for me.
The fender mirrors are adjusted perfectly as well. Luckily, for now, the lenses are really tight in the housing so they don't move at all as far as getting out of line.
That looks great! The OG Civic is probably one of the few Honda models I would consider owning (anything newer would be stolen in a heartbeat). The Shelby phone dialer wheels look perfect on that car.
Have you had the bumpers off? I bet a simplified/removed bumper would look pretty sharp. I dig the look!

Thanks, Rex. I agree with in that I wouldn't really own a Honda past the third gen Civic/Accord models.

I appreciate the digging, sir, lolol. And I did have the bumpers off when it went in for paint but not for riding around in. This car I wanted to look complete. It doesn't look all that "clean" with the bumpers off.
Here is a picture of my 1977 (taken back in 1991) with the bumpers off. You'll see what I mean. If I were really going for a more race look, I'd take them off in an instant.
I thought that was your car! We had the Merkur up at C&O Sunday morning. I waited around hoping you'd stop back by, I'll have to catch you at another one!
