It's a 2007 Matrix XR FWD. Only a 1ZZ-FE, but it's peppy enough to have a lot of fun with. It's only an automatic, but it will hopefully tide me over until I buy a Civic in the spring. The car is pretty much identical to the one pictured, 17" wheels and all.

Loved my vibe. Make sure the airbag recall has been done. I know the vibes had the bad airbags and these were built at the same plant so they likely do also.

Its like a Prius that gets 15 less mpg! But still a good car.

I almost got one of these before I got my Celica a couple years ago. They are nice cars, pretty peppy, lots of cargo room with the fold flat seats.

We had one my wife bought new until we upgraded to the minivan with kid number 2, very reliable, was a decent all around basic car and the hatchback makes it pretty practical for stuff
Nice,my sister had an awd one, I'm not sure which motor hers had in it but it went over 200k without any major problems.
SWMBO has one and "thomas" is fantastic, you wont win any races but you will be able to go everywhere and do anything.
