I think that's a bit of a crock. Trans Am is a sham anyway. Why can't they just make it fun! I would be more inclined to watch with that bad boy competing.
I would be looking for a sympathetic shop to put a wrap on that car. I wouldnt care if they wanted their shop name and naked pictures of Hillary Clinton and Janet Reno doing the nasty on the roof. Well maybe Hillary would have to turn her head. Come on, give him options and let him get it tarted up and on track. As long as it meets safety and prep standards help him get on track.
There must be more to the story than that. Did he fart while in the tech line or something?
So,Wheres the Guy from?? That kinda sux,lots of cars go to test days in primer and some race in it too.
Not sure what SCCA is expecting to show up- there are only a handful of GT-3 cars that are actually contemporary. Including the Miata.
Most of the eligible cars are over 20 years old. It would be funny to show up with an actual '71 Alfa Trans Am car, and see if it's allowed. Technically, it fits into GT-3....
