it's missing something without the wing. Maybe put a spoiler there, but it needs something. My dad had a '91 Turbo. I learned to drive stick in that car. I miss it.

I'm leery of putting too much wheel and tire on the car and slowing it down with extra weight, but I admit I have no experience with this platform.
Dorkiness says ditch the wing over here, but I like the "not a performance car look." And, those wheels are cool, but some lightweight 17's would be cool.
Another vote for keeping the wing. Like the MK4 Supra, these just look naked and awkward without the wing. And believe me, I am NOT a wing guy, but they just look right on these cars. Now if we were talking a 1st gen MR2 my story would be very different.
Man, the Toyobaru is such an abortion compared to this thing. What has happened to the art of automotive design?

ever think that might because we are all just used to seeing them without wings?
Wing it. Just like my MK3 supra, wing made it look gooooood. (and adds horsepower, just like stickers!)
I think SW20s look pretty awful without some kind of wing or spoiler on the back. The rest of the car is too rounded, it ends up looking kind of doughy without something to provide a sharper edge at the rear. So I vote to keep the wing.
For some reason, wheels really make or break the 2nd gen MR2's aesthetics. The only wheels that look "right" to me are chunky, sharp, flat 5-spokes (like the ones in the wingless wonder above) or meshies. These are probably also the most expensive.
I love MR2s, and i think Red is it's most complimentary color-- just like the Supra. Anyways, i'm kind of disappointed to see a GRMer leaving an MR2 stock as a DD and not fabbing some giant fender flares and gutting it into a track car. :P
But very nice car!
I go back and forth on the wing. Not sure. Left mine on.
That's an awesome car. Would be a great E Stock autocross car. Hardtops are difficult to find.
Interesting fact about MkII MR2s - 93.256% of them are 91s. Of those, 92.143% are red. Of those 97.653% have T Tops. My figures could be off just a tic, but I think I'm close.
