I wouldn't call it "Wally". I'd call it 'Wally with an Attitude'. Have fun, and drive safe.

Your newbie is showing. Wally is the driver, not the car. Mazdax605 and the rest of us on this board are lucky to have such a great compatriot.

So I am left to wonder.  What's more humorous in the world of unexpected right hand drive?

Leave the left seat empty or get a large stuffed animal and seatbelt it into the seat?

When I first got my Delica 7 years ago my boys would take turns sitting shot gun with a spare steering wheel from my collection. They were 8 and 12 years old at the time. Drive through at fast food restaurants was a lot of fun.

Wally gave my son and me a short ride. It's pretty funny sitting in the left front seat with nothing to do! laugh

When I was between 3 and 5 years old my Mom had a RHD Morris Minor. In New Jersey. We had spare steering wheels. Of course I held them.....One of my earliest clear memories is of a woman in a new 1956 Buick, two tone red & white, driving over a curb and damaging it while her eyes were riveted on us!

Pick up one of these for phone listening through cassette radio.

Dollar stores usually have them still.

The Chariot doesn't have a cassette player though.

The lack of a radio really hasn't bothered me. I am surprised how many people notice it.  I had a guy this morning in a wide body Challenger leaning out his window to get a picture.

How’s the shifting with the left hand?  The only time I’ve driven RH drive I was glad it was an auto.

I didn't even think about it today.  I was in heavy traffic this morning, then got off 95 and headed to Chesapeake for dinner with friends and it's mindless. For the people saying manual transmissions make you safer after a day I could shift and search for music left handed.

So far the Chariot Resort Runner GT has a ton of fun.  Its quicker than it looks, I was playing with a Mustang for a little while and he couldn't quite shake us until he got a fairly long straight sand I wasn't sure how many Kilograms per liter would get me arrested. It's a conversation piece at almost every stop. A couple kids at South of the Border took pictures with it.  If the seatbelt was about three inches longer it would be perfect.  Clearly they intended a less spherical driver.

I have more trouble with the turn signals than I do the shifter, and a couple times I started to get in the wrong side.

Awesome.   I’ll add that I love that you’re trolling Mustangs in a JDM minivan.  Carry on sir, this is good stuff so please keep us posted.

I feel like this cars name should be Wally the Green Monster.

It seems wasteful to squander such an incredible name and not seize the opportunity to refer to this as The Chariot!

A Wally influence... Chariot the Mustang hunter

The ChuRRGeT

Chariot Resort Runner GT strikes me as such a random collection of words. It's almost humorous in itself.

Uhhh Chris.... Wally seems to be enjoying the Chariot WAAAY  more than anyone expected. Did you happen to get anything in writing that says he needs to get it to you by a certain date, say maybe before either of you has grandkids? Just sayin', this could have been the ultimate long term scam. Wally befriends you knowing that you have similar tastes in unique JDM cars and you will buy one that needs to be transported to New England. Its been 10 long years but it finally paid off, now that he has the car, it may be difficult to find. Can you imagine the hiding places Wally must know in just NYC alone, never mind LI and upstate NY. Sorry man, I bet you would have loved it.devil

Chuck, I'd be worried if it were one of these.
