What do you mean adding a good scoop to help with cooling? A forward facing scoop will most likely reduce air flow through the radiator and make overheating worse

hahaha opps I meant roof scoop and maybe air vents if we have time.

So a lot of good news!

cage is done, harness is done, dash is in, brakes and everything are don't. We have 2 vacuums leaks to find. We just broke our windshield worst so we are going to replace it tomorrow morning.

The only left we need to do is fab seat brackets and belts pretty much. Also the dumb thermostat housing is giving us issue, but I think we fixed it. There are some small things left but its looking good!!!

As long as there is no more road blocks NJMP here we come!

Post more pictures of the cage, you don't want any surprises there when you go through tech.

The thermostat housings ALWAYS leak on these cars.

We made it!!! I will post up pictures later today. Worked on the car Thursday night 6:00pm to Friday 11:00am no sleep. We got there and missed tech but they told us we could pass tech that morning. We worked on the car all night. We had to redo our kill switch. It was drawing to much power and the motor could not crack over. Once we fixed that we had to fix that whole not idling problem. After 5 vacuums leaks fixed the car idled again! Next morning we failed tech for our bends in our cage. After a few gust from this awesome guy we passed tech. We got some laps in on Saturday but not a lot due to over heating problems from a clogged rad. We had a friend bring a used rad in overnight and installed it. After that we have a good 5 hours of racing. Still fighting some heat problems but we all got to drive for a good amount of time. 92th place o yea hahahah. but at least we over came everything and got the car on the track and made a lot of new friends.

In reply to Sonic: I saw you there! But everytime I was going to say hi you were rebuilding/ motor swapping on all your cars. I did talk to the cook for little tho haha The civic that was a tank was awesome!
