This is a perfect reason for "no reason jewelry".

Her initial reaction to the car was less than positive, but as soon as she started screaming, "This is your Berkeleying Christmas!!", I knew that I was home free.
I forwarded this thread to my wife, this was her reaction:

LOL! FYI, that will NOT work for you. You have your challenge car. You have PLENTY of projects.
LOVE YOU
Funny and sad for me all at the same time.
Mine suggested we fly down to ATL on thanksgiving instead of driving so that we could be more relaxed when we pick up our new Mazda.

Ah... the joys of being single... granted, my ex- is about as bad as I am (she has 5 cars; I have 6). It's a shame we never built a Challenge car together. When it comes to combing the internet for deals, she has a gift I lack. The downside is it would have to be some sort of obscure car she it interested in.

My wife mentioned this thread to me last night.....
My last miata buying experience went more like this.
Her - Sends me link to cheapish miata with issues.
Me - We have no need for that miata + bunch of issues I saw with it.
Me - If you want a miata here is a cheaper better one link.
Her - does it have ABS?
Me - Email seller and find out it does so I buy it.
