So I strap my GoPro to a ton of different cars at every autocross, so I figured I better start editing the videos and posting them since the owners always ask where they can watch them. And as usual, in order to keep me from being lazy I need to post them up.
LS1-swapped FD RX-7 (first autocross, slides and DNF's).
LS1-swapped FD RX-7 R1 (first autocross, ran 11.3 at the drags).
More coming including a JDM STi-swapped 914, the FTD LS1 FC RX-7, our 944, and a 73 Porsche 911 Carrera RS!!!
Ohh can otherse play? This is me driving a 914-6 2nd FTD.

Sure, why not! We can just make it the "share your autocross videos" thread. (Tom, title change please? kthanx!)
Here's the Black C. Scroll to 1:30 for the start (I don't have any editing software). Yeah, I left a lot on the table..haven't been doing this very long, and it's really different from road racing.

Windows has free editing software that's pretty good, it's what I'm using.
Last runs my car ever made, and the most impressive. 40.10 was my best, I think the FTD was 36 something or 35.

Sorry it took me a bit to see the thread name change request. C'est fixed.
And since I'm here, I'll throw a link to one of my personal adventures with a non-project car.

Of course, you can also subscribe to GRMtv on YouTube...can't forget to pimp for the home team.

Brand new for today, you'll find Episode 3 of the Pirelli World Challenge "Inside Look" series.
My son moved out a few years back, and I let him take my 10 year scrip to his new place. He reads it front to back, and thanks to the mag, has taken a real interest in getting involved.
His first event, in my rally cross Swift. He had such a good time, he brought it home, did some suspension work, mounted some Victoracers, and was all ready for the next event... when the series was cancelled. Nonetheless, he's hooked.

Thanks Tom, I appreciate it!

I didn't realize that thing was Subie-powered... I've seen it at the SCCA autocrosses. Quite wicked...
I have to say I'm a little boggled at the other machinery you're showing from PCA autocrosses. If this is representative, also seems like they're prone to more open, sweeping course design than SCCA at the same venue...

It was an original 914-6 until this season. Over the winter the built-up 2.7 Flat 6 was sold off and a JDM STi 2.0L dropped in (the crazy variable-vane one).
As for the cars and courses, yeah our local SCCA's (NW & Oregon) are both way conservative and cater to the Stock class boringness. The PCA does much longer and more flowing courses and we do 6-8 runs instead of 3. We also have classes and championships for Non-Porsches (Street Tire & Race Tire) which have wide-open rules, so we get all the cool stuff that doesn't fit into the SCCA's bizarre rules.
So far this year we've had the Palotov, 2 LS1 FD's, 3 LS1 FC's, a LS1 240Z, a Prepared 260Z, a few up-boosted MS3's, an up-boosted SRT4, a few Turbo Miata's, and more Porsche racecars then you can shake a stick at.
I have a couple from this season so far. I'm co-driving a SMF class 1992 Acura Integra with 415 horsepower at the wheels.

"Oh, I hidda cone! DAMMIT!"
Right there with ya, bro. That comes from someone who's never been any closer to 6sec of a class win..much less FTD. I like how your region chalks up the "sides" of the course. I think I'd actually be a touch quicker if I could see the course, instead of trying to read cones (keeps me from looking far enough ahead). I still can't get a map in my head from a walkthrough.

Don't ever sell that thing. FTD at a National Tour event aside, I've read the history of it in the magazine. My own dad hated my love of our sport. Slammed me down every chance he could. Even if we see a pic of the damn thing in your backyard with weeds growing through it on Bring a Trailer ten years from now...don't ever, ever, ever, ever sell it. You'll kick yourself for the rest of your natural lifespan.
The Lethal Locost last year:

Here's a two-view video I made a few years ago of a "fun run" with a passenger in the car:
Two-shot mix video
No music (yay!), but it does have decent audio.
