It seems to me that almost all NA Miata hoods are bent or just don't fit right at the leading edge right behind the headlights? Is it the headlights being out of adjust ment or what? I see this on just about all the CL ads I've been looking at the last few months. Maybe it's just me.
Mine doesn't fit correctly. I wrote it off as just one of those build quality things. Doesn't bother me, but neither does the huge dent in the door or my missing finish panel.
It's not the hood, it is the headlight covers. People lean on them when doing somehting to the engine (checking oil, etc) and they get pushed down. You simply grab the covers and pull back up to get them back in alignment with the hood.

Yup, headlight covers seem to need frequent adjustments.

Plus, some guys push the driver's cover down intentionally in the hope of getting more cold air to the airbox.
