NA Miata, XL7 engine?

I saw a Suzuki XL7 engine in a junkyard. I remember that it was tiny, and that it's supposed to be both Mazda-based and a screamer.

Has anyone installed one in a Miata? I know I should just go buy my school's Nismospeed car when I'm done if I want a V6 Miata, but...

The XL7 has somewhat close ties to a Mazda KL, which has been put into a couple Miatas.
