I pulled this from an E12 BMW and it seems to have numbers and letters "BMW" on the underside but I'm not convinced it's for that car. Seems like an odd shape but it sort of appeals to me in an offbeat way.I call it the Batman wing right now. Think it's from a different car?

That's no E21 spoiler I've ever seen.

I think I'll name it Wally.

Sorry, i pulled it off of an E12 which makes it even less likely to be an 80s wing.

Ha ha, I didn't need a "name" for it, but you GRM guys are always good for a laugh!

Maybe it's a Klingon Battle Axe?

I'm wondering about 240sx and other odd early 90s cars too.

"It is a good day for downforce!"

Never seen that wing though...pretty dumb design from a functional standpoint.

It's a spoiler. They don't function like wings. The design looks fine to me depending on the hatch/trunk it is mounted to.

Funny, that was the name of our softball team in college.

That's funny, it doesn't look like a softball team at all.

My friends and I invented a totally ridiculous sport back in high school. It was called "El Fred".

It doesn't look like anything BMW offered as a factory option to me. What are the letters and numbers on it? Other companies that offered spoilers for BMWs included BBS, Zender, Pfeba, Alpina, Hartge and probably some others I can't recall at the moment.

Holy E36 M3! What you have there is a genuine EDM Rice Roaster 6000!!

It came with a number of improvements over the RR5K including 25 extra HP and so much downforce that your rear bumper becomes a shovel if you don't upgrade your springs.

And these days, there are no wars in Star Trek. Temporal police? Give me a break. I want to see the Defiant blow me up some Borg!

Oh dear. I fear I've said too much. Good thing there's no girls on car forums.

They could've made an awesome series just about the dominion war.

Oh, that wing is pretty neat too.
