Autoweek article
According to the article one of the standard texas motor speedway weekends is going to be replaced with a weekend at COTA and TMS will be hosting the All Star Race.
I went to V8 supercars there in 2013 and it was an AMAZING SHOW.
I am so excited to go see this in person!!
Why not take Cup to Road America, NASCAR ?!?!?

They've raced at Elkhart Lake.
I'm going to drive down there for that!

It was called NASCAR Grand National back then - 1956. The Xfinity guys run there currently though.
I'll be marshaling that event for sure. I enjoyed supercars there. Turn 15 for nascar should be interesting.
NASCAR on the Daytona road course this summer was entertaining--good, close racing.
The more Australian V8 supercar in NASCAR, the better if you ask me.
20 minutes from my house, I'll be there.
Ideal support series: something from IMSA.

Talking modern day Cup to be clear. The Xfinity cars are a blast to watch at RA, and the Cup cars would just add to that. Plus, it’s my childhood home track!

Champcar 3 hour races would be awesome!

IMHO NASCAR is making a lot of really smart moves. I believe this is a result (at least in part) because Jim France has risen to the top leadership spot.
With the new car coming in 2022 I see NASCAR and IMSA looking more and more alike and even possibly sharing some race weekends.
Jim was Brian's boss ever since Bill jr passed away.
