Fox DCMA got it taken down, its back up for now.
Best non-racing part of the telecast was the piece about the history of the track, on air about 9:10-9:15 pm. Neat that Jack Hewitt, a local guy, was featured. He is what Eldora is about, and NASCAR has done a good job of making that special something into a successful business.

Spectacular! Thanks
I thought there would be more full sideways slides like you see at a local Super Modified or Late Model dirt race.
The Menards, Carolina Nut and Seal Master trucks are all based out of my small Ohio town where Seal Master Coating is HQ'ed. The give tours and have open houses but I have never been.

They aren't able to run the tire stagger that the LM can. That is why you are not seeing the swing out like the LM's It's more of a stick turning. That is why Bloomquist had so many problems in the first segment. He tried to tune the car like an LM with no front sway. You could see the front lift and there wasn't enough tire in the opposite corner to dig in.
This is awesome, but I admit I was hoping to see more Cup and even sprint car guys come in to make it like a dirt IROC show. I know a ton of the top cup drivers run dirt cars for fun.

I was noticing that and comparing it to the more straight driving of the leader
I expect that there is some good "mixing it up" in the middle of the field but as usual, TV gives you 1st, 2nd ,3rd only

+1. This is fun!
I spent many a weekend turning wrenches at the dirt tracks around Iowa. Worked part time assembling LM's in college for a local race shop.
It's fun to watch this. Making me really miss the dirt track
I crewed for a guy who ran midgets one weekend. We hit three tracks, some little dirt track in Indiana, Eldora speedway and finished the weekend up at Michigan Ideal.
This kind of midget
Around 400hp 4cyl
He won a brand new Beast chassis at the end of the year for being points champion. The next year he sold all his race stuff and pizza shop and opened a used car lot
