Noticed alot of constant vibration yesterday. So today, I went looking and found that. I got a solid 30k out of those Goodyears after I replaced them with a different tires on a customers Caravan at about 35k.
I would like to stay 27"-ish and on a 15x6.5 rim. The "free" tire days are over. Plus stock Caravan tires SUCK for a Dakota.
check craigslist?
i dont buy new tires unless i get them on closeout from tirerack or unless they were new but secondhand. i've scored great deals($150 for set of 4 brand new 275/60/15 firehawks) on CL and at the pull a part.
Craigslist is worthless around here. If it isn't some poser jacked up 4x4 with 24's.....It just doesn't seem to doesn't exist. Same with JY's and used tire stores. 15's don't exist anymore and if they do have them, they have a gold price tag.
I sure do miss MI in these regards.

Have you been pricing a certain size yet ? http://www.tireboy.com/
These guys have been good to me !
EDIT: Sorry, I thought they shipped (they are local for me) there is a link at the bottom for comparison...
If you're broke, there's got to be a used tire place somewhere in your area

If you check online, most of the big-name tire stores have 'closeout' sections, sometimes they have killer deals (think 30% retail mounted and balanced) on new, good name brand tires...
What's your budget? I've found all-season Kumho's to be priced right and are perfectly good tires.
+1. Standard all season Kumhos are what go on the appliance cars (father-in-law's cars, etc...). They are inexpensive and inoffensive. Sort of like good quality appliance cars. ;-)
