To make my Torino a better commuter, I'm thinking about swapping out the 351C and FMX for a 5.0 and AOD. I had a '91 Thunderbird with that combo a long time ago and I'd love to find another running and driving example to harvest the drivetrain. A bonus would be fuel injection, A/C, and easier/cheaper power adder options. My grandparents had a late 80s Mercury with a 5.0/AOD, though it may have had speed density FI rather that MAF. I know Mustangs had the 5.0 up to '95 still had the AOD until '93. Lincoln MKVII LSC would work. What other vehicles had that drivetrain in RWD?
