Need help identifying a bucket truck.

Early ‘70’s F-750 has that same steering wheel so I believe it probably is an early ‘70’s Fomoco chassis.

Opie (Mrs. Braps father) worked on heavy equipment/inspection for a living for a long time. We checked it out real good and 1 line needs to be replaced and the brakes need to be fixed (clean the master) and it should be good to go.  
 

 

Definitely a Ford steering wheel, so I assume it has a Ford chassis.  The lightning bolt represents a straight six engine.

 

edited to add:  no Zip code in the address on the data plate, which probably means it's pre-1963.

You’re correct on the ‘consumer grade’ stuff.  Come to think of it though, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Ford’s V8 logo (which would have supplanted the lightning bolt) on any of the industrial, agricultural, or heavy (600, 750, 9000) stuff.  Even if it was a V8.  I guess they figured nobody cared in those markets.

Oh man that is so cool. You definitely got me checking Craigslist for bucket trucks again. One popped up for $5k but I'm having trouble picturing where to park it and justifying the expense. It would be super handy, but I don't know if it's $5k and keep another vehicle running kind of handy.

Got the alternator back from the rebuilders, lets see how it does being 100% usable again. 

Been running it more than I thought I would the past few days. I have ran it two evenings in a row de-Iceing gutters and vent pipes for all the neighbors.

I had not realized that you are in Nerk. 

I have a great friend out there who actually lives in Granville but works in the old downtown library building in Nerk.

I drive though Granville every day on my way into work.
