I have a guy who want to trade me his 1999 monte Carlo Z34. I know nothing about this car. Can you guys help me with the pros and cons of this car..thanks
Car is in great shape. Comes with spare 18 inch rims.
Hears a link to his add http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-1999-Chevrolet-Monte-Carlo-Black-Coupe-W0QQAdIdZ440442631
I really, seriously hate those cars, I can tell you that much.
IIRC they crap intake manifold gaskets pretty quickly and the transmissions aren't the best, but otherwise it's your typical late 90's GM FWD V6 bullsh*t- built like crap out of cheap materials, underwhelming to drive, mediocre engine, downright stupid interior, and will squeak and rattle forever until the engine does itself a favor and finally throws a rod. The fact that 18's are included hints that the guy selling it might not be the brightest.
The garbage of the 90's is most of why I hate GM. Did I mention that I really hate these cars?
They aren't too bad, basic appliances that get the job done. The good thing is if something does go wrong, there are plenty of spares in the local junkyard to get parts from.

I can keep going!
Weirdly, every single time one of my cars has been crashed....it was in an accident with a Lumina Coupe. I've never crashed a car, my friends have only crashed mine, but literally every single time...the collision was with one of those stupid things.
I think they're out to get me, TBH.
Well, maybe if you were a bit nicer to them they might lay off.

Thanks guys but it does not tell me much about the car..see I have a 94 e150 he is interested in it's rust free from down south. Want to sell the van but it's hard to sell an old gas guzzler. So the question is do you think I could get 3k for the car with the spare rims. The van I'm selling has that much in the way of new parts in the last year.
Remember I'm on the other side of the border and rust free vans of that age are far and few between.
